A team of four 14-year-old students, trained by Thinking Oasis, was awarded the "Junior Engineers" Award following their victory at the National Sumo Robotics Championship. Competing against 150 teams from universities and schools across Jordan, this group of young innovators was the only team of teenagers to win a prize, competing against university-level students.

The National Sumo Robotics Championship challenges teams to build and program sumo robots that push opponents out of a game field. The winners, aged 14 to 15, took on the challenge after attending a Sumo Robotics training at Thinking Oasis. The program focused on enhancing critical thinking skills through STEM-based activities. Equipped with the skills to experiment on their own, the learners took charge of their project, working independently on every aspect of their robot's design and function.

From concept to completion, Adam, Aya, Ibrahim, and Lubna handled everything—designing, fabricating, soldering electronics, and strategizing for the competition. Their hard work paid off when their sumo robot triumphed in the tournament.

The young engineers expressed their joy at receiving the award, and competition organizers were quick to recognize the significance of their achievement. As the youngest team among the winners, their accomplishment stands as a testament to their skill, dedication, and the innovative training program offered by Thinking Oasis.
