In a vibrant three-day training, Thinking Oasis partnered with the Madrasati Initiative to deliver a dynamic Training of Facilitators (TOF) workshop under the Building Tomorrow project. This hands-on training, held from January 10–12, 2026, brought together school principals, mentors, and teachers from different governorates to explore how STEM education can spark curiosity, innovation, and meaningful learning in classrooms.

Drawing on our belief and experience that learners shouldn’t just receive answers but discover them, our team conducted a TOF that blended methodology, practice, and joyful experimentation, empowering educators to become champions of interactive STEM learning.

A Playful and Practical Approach to STEM

Throughout the training, participants explored how to design and deliver STEM activities that are fun, interactive, and rooted in real-world problem solving.

The training’s core focus was on bridging theory with practice:

  • STEM Education Methodology: Trainers guided participants through engaging strategies for delivering interactive STEM activities that provoke questioning and spark enthusiasm.
  • Feedback and Application: Principals, mentors, and teachers had the opportunity to practice what they learned, presenting sample activities based on the training manual and receiving constructive feedback from peers and facilitators.
  • Facilitation & Hands-On Learning: Through presentations and group challenges, participants built confidence in delivering lessons that nurture critical thinking, experimentation, and innovation.

Building Tomorrow Project

As part of the broader Building Tomorrow project, the TOF aligns with the Madrasati Project’s student to focus on empowering youth through a comprehensive journey of skills development.

This includes:

  • Foundations in Technology: Helping students build core knowledge in STEM fields.
  • Digital Safety Awareness: Teaching learners how to stay safe online and minimize the impact of cyber risks.
  • Media Literacy: Building the ability to distinguish trustworthy news from misinformation.
  • Future Skills Exploration: Introducing new competencies that meet the demands of tomorrow’s careers.

Structured across 12 educational units, the student component supports both girls and boys with practical experiences, campus visits, interactive workshops, and encounters with specialists in STEM fields, expanding learners’ horizons and bringing future jobs into focus.

Impactful Learning for All

Participants left the TOF energized, equipped with tools to transform their classrooms into vibrant spaces of inquiry and invention. They practiced innovative delivery, experimented with activities, and embraced a mindset that learning isn’t static; it’s a journey of questions, trials, and discoveries.

This workshop exemplifies a bold step toward shaping a future where students don’t just keep up with change; they lead it.
