Al-Mayar International Schools recently concluded an innovative Winter Robotics Club that combined STEM education with Critical Thinking skills development. Held during the holiday break, the program brought 4th and 5th rade students closer to the principles of Critical Thinking using customized sumo robots.

A team of four 14-year-old students, trained by Thinking Oasis, was awarded the "Junior Engineers" Award following their victory at the National Sumo Robotics Championship. Competing against 150 teams from universities and schools across Jordan, this group of young innovators was the only team of teenagers to win a prize, competing against university-level students.
